Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive review of the Indian electric vehicle (EV) market by examining its current status, challenges and future prospects. This study combines primary and secondary research to gather information and gain insight into the dynamics of the Energy Industry. Through an extensive literature review along with in-depth discussions with industry experts and stakeholders, this article explores the key concepts influencing EV implementation in India, including policy initiatives, infrastructure, consumer preferences and advancements in technology. Additionally, this study examines the economic, environmental and impacts of the transition to electric vehicles, highlighting opportunities and barriers for companies, government agencies and customers. This article aims to provide better understanding to policy makers, industry executives and researchers interested in the sustainable development of the Indian electric vehicle market by assessing the current situation and identifying potential strategies to overcome the problems.
