Abstract
Information or data is a very crucial resource to us. Thus securing information becomes more essential. The communication medium through which we send data does not provide data security, so other methods of securing data are required. Information hiding plays a very important role today. It provided methods for encrypting the information to become unreadable for any unintended user. In the last few years, the security of data over the internet has become a very difficult task. With the increasing usage of the internet, the protection of information has become a critical Issue. Information security is one of the most important concerns in any communication. Data hiding is a related field to information security. This has made people worry about their privacy and work. Steganography is a technique that prevents unauthorized users from having access to important data. It is the science of hiding the information into the other information so that the hidden information appears to be nothing to the human eyes. In this paper, we review different steganography techniques for data hiding. The purpose of this paper is to present an overview of various information-hiding techniques. A brief history of steganography is provided along with the techniques used to hide information
