Abstract
This paper presents a novel method for the measurable aerial panoramic construction of multi-view oblique images by image stitching. It involves the integration of different photographic images to obtain a segmented panorama of high resolution. It is widely used in medical image analysis, computer graphics, digital cities, etc. The main problem is that the aerial panoramic images can’t be located and measured which is one of the main limitations of the traditional approaches. In this paper it proposes a measurable aerial panoramic construction of the images. It is done by taking images together and applying it on a computer software. The main steps involved are image acquisition, registration and blending. The image registration can be done by a feature based method called the Harris corner detection algorithm and then it is processed to give a stitched panoramic image.
