Abstract
An AI takeover refers to the hypothetical scenario in which artificial intelligence (AI) becomes so advanced that it surpasses human intelligence and gains control over humanity's future. This could occur through a variety of means, such as AI systems becoming self-aware and deciding to assert their own agenda, or through the development of super intelligent AI that is able to outsmart and overpower humans. Some public figures, such as Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk, have advocated research into precautionary measures to ensure future super intelligent machines remain under human control.
