The project describes the prototype of a Data Acquisition System that can be used for environmental monitoring. The system uses an array of sensors connected to a processing unit with firmware for continuous monitoring. The data acquisition process has been performed via Zigbee and cloud storage system. This project consists of standalone firmware unit which monitors various hazardous conditions in the Environment and transmit the relevant data to the main server via Zigbee protocol. The firmware unit is the Arduino UNO board. This project consists of various sensors like Gas, Humidity, Temperature sensors and GPS. This work is done to illustrate the basic concepts of Graphical User Interface and Data Acquisition System. The Data is collected via Arduino and transferred using Zigbee and received using another Zigbee and fed into cloud server}, keywords = {Data Acquisition System, firmware, Zigbee, cloud, Arduino Board, Environment, GPS (global positioning system), GUI}, month = {}, }
