Abstract
Intelligent Video Surveillance is an active research topic in Artificial Intelligence and computer Vision. The demand of Intelligent Video Surveillance is due to the limitations in the ability of humans to carefully monitor the live footage. The Abnormal behavior of a group of people in public areas or near private secured areas led to the demand of automatic detection and analysis of crowds. Various novel methods are presented here which are focused on the detection of such suspicious crowds. Upon detection of such abnormal crowd notification is sent automatically to the concerned Authority.
