Abstract
In recent days, renewable sources of energy have achieved great importance for modern day society. The main reason is the need to use substitute energy sources instead of fossil fuels that remain free from CO2 emissions and contamination. Among the current renewable sources of energy, the growth of photovoltaic power generation systems are becoming increasingly preferrable in distribution and generation systems .Therefore different module technologies have been developed. Knowing about the suitable technology as per the requirement is very much important. This paper presents the performance and comparison of different solar charge controllers in real time condition. By examining, the performance at the same time and conditions, i.e. the behaviour of different type of technologies in different conditions are analysed.
