Abstract
The title of the thesis presented herein, refers the primary objectives that underpin the research work. Quality Assurance Quality Control in Bituminous Roads Constructions aims to carry out quality control for bituminous concrete, a stage prior to being placed in work to ensure the quality parameters required for road works, which typically have a very important dimension aspect. In 2015, India awarded the highest number of road projects by length and produced the highest number of motor vehicles, UNION MINISTOR OF TRANSPORT MINISTER NITHIN SRIRAM GHATKER said. “This is a sign of growth of the economy, but it presents a challenge also. Therefore, we have speeded up the process of road construction. I have proposed to allocate a sum of Rs.55, 000 crore in the budget for roads and highways. Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) are important. Make sure QA plans are put together and submitted properly. Quality Assurance includes all those quality parameters or guidelines that would ensure that a project or a product meets it’s planned or targeted quality by it’s stakeholders or the producers. To be sure the project has covered all the quality aspects it should (and that they have been documented). From last decade more than 20% of motor vehicles increased the road gets damage by improper maintains. In QA and QC is helps to maintains, rehabhitation, expanding roads construction works It helps to increase the life span of road normal life span of the bituminous road 15-20 years Modifier is material which is used to changing the property of bituminous concrete It helps increasing the bonding of bituminous concrete
