A BRIEF STUDY ON STEEL FIBER & ITS PROPERTIES

Abstract
This paper presents a brief study on steel fiber and steel fiber reinforced concrete columns. In this study the advantages and the uses of the steel fiber has been illustrated and also steel fiber reinforced concrete columns behavior under different loadings. It has been noted that the uses of steel fiber in the concrete mix enhances the property of the concrete mix and steel fiber reinforced columns sustain more load under loading compared to plain columns and reinforced columns.
